📋 Description

• Build and ship web-based software products for Toro TMS's transportation management software platform for bulk commodity haulers • Work as an entrepreneurial, product-minded Staff Software Engineer alongside experienced engineers • Understand the trucking domain and users' problems • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and UX teams • Build and ship features quickly, balancing quality and velocity • Proactively identify and complete work aligned with team and business priorities • Participate in team discussions, pair programming, and decision-making • Support colleagues across engineering and other areas of the business • Meet with customers to learn about their businesses and workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with both Ruby on Rails and React • Experience working in a remote-first environment • 5+ years of experience building and shipping web-based software products • Ability and desire to build fast and ship features on a daily / weekly basis • Strong communication skills • Ability to take direction and feedback from senior team members • Strong desire to learn about the trucking industry, meet with customers, learn about their businesses and workflows • Empathy for users and teammates • Located in the United States • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
