📋 Description

• Participate in FinOps implementation projects and manage successful ongoing customer engagements • Guide customers in optimizing cloud consumption using financial and technical expertise • Maintain FinOps Practitioner certification and knowledge of current and future FinOps frameworks and best practices • Maintain knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Microsoft CSP, and Google Workspace offerings and savings vehicles • Align Trace3 FinOps solutions with industry frameworks and best practices while working cross-functionally • Onboard cloud customers to cost management systems and set up recurring billing according to contracts • Answer customer billing and account questions within contractual SLAs • Execute FinOps consulting engagements and deliver documentation and collateral on time • Transition consulting engagements into ongoing cloud governance services • Build relationships with client stakeholders and decision makers • Design and build cloud FinOps reporting frameworks aligned with tagging and naming strategies • Analyze cloud cost and usage data to identify optimization opportunities and report results • Publish FinOps activity reports and conduct monthly/quarterly business reviews • Lead and present client-facing sessions for executive audiences, both on-site and virtually • Improve Trace3’s FinOps service offering and operations through research, documentation, and implementation • Evaluate cloud provider and third-party tooling to optimize and automate internal processes • Develop new FinOps consulting services and support pre-sales activities • Formalize procedures and collateral for existing and new offerings • Analyze processes for scalability and participate in departmental planning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience • Minimum of three years of experience in cloud billing, sales support, operations, managed services, or finance • Experience onboarding clients to cloud billing, cost management, or FinOps tooling • Experience leading client facing presentations • Ability to design and build FinOps reporting frameworks aligned to business and technical requirements • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to effectively interact with customer business, finance and technical teams • Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects and associated tasks • Cloud FinOps Practitioner certification • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 offerings and licensing options • Familiarity with Google Workspaces (aka GSuite) • Familiarity with cloud concepts for AWS, Azure and/or GCP • Knowledge and experience with FinOps concepts and strategies
