📋 Description

• Monitor, track, and support day-to-day operations and maintenance of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS assets • Manage and troubleshoot Solar PV systems including SMA inverters, DC collection systems, tracker operations, and AC interconnection • Oversee daily operations of Tesla Megapack and LG Energy Solution BESS installations • Utilize SCADA platforms for monitoring, diagnostics, alarms, real-time performance data, and operational events • Develop CMMS systems for work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and asset performance tracking • Troubleshoot operational, scheduling, and market-alignment issues and implement corrective actions • Implement initiatives to improve asset performance, profitability, and efficiency • Onboard projects in the execution phase for operations • Direct third-party O&M vendors and oversee contractual compliance • Implement corrective and preventive maintenance programs • Manage warranty claims through resolution • Coordinate operational compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements • Administer project agreements and oversee supplier and contractor obligations • Support financial reporting with finance and accounting teams • Prepare operations, lender, and tax equity reports • Provide data-driven operational insights to leadership • Document and streamline operations and market participation processes • Collaborate across departments and perform special projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related technical field preferred; degrees in business, economics, or a related field will be considered • Minimum of 6 years of experience in utility-scale solar PV and BESS operations and maintenance, asset management, and energy market activities • Highly skilled in utility-scale solar PV systems including module technology, DC collection systems, string and central inverters, tracker systems, and AC interconnection • Hands-on experience with SMA utility-scale inverters including fault diagnostics, firmware management, and performance optimization • Demonstrated experience with Tesla Megapack and/or LG Energy Solution BESS platforms including monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with OEM technical support • Proficiency in SCADA platforms for real-time monitoring, alarm management, and performance analysis of utility-scale PV and BESS assets • Experience with CMMS platforms (Maximo, SAP PM, UpKeep, or equivalent) for work order management and preventive maintenance scheduling • Strong understanding of agreements such as FA, LGIA, AMA, LTSA, OMA, SFA, and PPA • Familiarity and understanding of NERC compliance and reporting • Working knowledge of energy market operations and asset scheduling • NABCEP Photovoltaic Installation Professional (PVIP) or PV Technical Sales (PVTS) certification preferred • NFPA 855 awareness training or certification preferred • NERC Reliability certification applicable to generation and storage operations preferred • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry or Construction certification preferred • Additional inverter OEM certifications preferred • Experience with additional BESS OEM platforms preferred • Candidates must have authorization to work in the US prior to joining; no work authorization sponsorship or assistance is offered
