📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for a variety of clients • Create and finalize translated products before delivery to clients • Translate from English into Irish in Legal and/or Information Technology specializations • Collaborate with managers and Project Managers • Provide Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM services

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Irish • Specialization in Legal (Terms/Conditions and Contracts) and/or Information Technology (User Interface) • Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines • Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement • Applicants must complete free Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM tests • One of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent degree including significant translation training) from a recognized higher-education institution; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
