• Deliver efficient external and internal services to all regions and Business Units across North America • Work with leadership teams to understand operational and product needs • Implement operating rhythms and enable process improvements • Monitor the health of the overall business operations cadence • Inspire a shared vision and steward company values • Use data to establish baselines for team action • Foster positive office relationships and develop employees into self-directed individuals • Promote intentional collaboration and provide meaning and direction to team work • Listen actively to understand and solve team challenges • Measure and report team efforts and successes to stakeholders • Enable a customer-centric team experience by maintaining accountability and removing roadblocks • Create a positive, productive work environment and help the team reach goals • Define and deliver the purpose, requirements, and desired results of company or departmental programs affecting Operations • Attract, retain, and develop leaders and managers who share CTM values and culture • Provide leadership and guidance, prioritizing and assigning projects • Anticipate and resolve project obstacles and communicate solutions • Oversee standards for key initiatives while partnering with counterparts to grow key concepts • Use internal customer feedback to build quantified business cases for upstream process improvements • Adjust team priorities, decisions, and actions in response to changing business demands and unanticipated events • Manage performance, hiring, training, coaching, feedback, development, and engagement for direct and indirect reports as applicable
• At least 10 years’ experience in TMC operations • Minimum 3 years in a director role • Strong commercial acumen and technical process knowledge, including fares and ticketing • Essential knowledge of front reservation and mid-office systems • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business process improvements and change management • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels • Proven leadership and teamwork skills • Demonstrated success developing, implementing, and enhancing efficient business processes • Strong customer focus with essential travel industry experience • High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth, and pressure • Positive persuasiveness and influencing ability • Results orientation and deadline driven • Judgment and decision making • Flexibility and adaptability • Leadership and oral communication • Relationship building • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to perform basic math • Ability to read and interpret information • Attention to detail • Regular and reliable attendance • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Appropriate and professional written and verbal communication • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize simultaneous requests • Creative and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and consultative skills • Demonstrated calm under pressure and proactive contribution • Willingness to undertake domestic and global travel if required
