• Cross-license current and newly onboarded therapists in multiple states • Initiate and process cross-license applications for therapists • Maintain working knowledge of state licensure requirements and licensure timeframes • Contact state licensing boards for provider licensure status updates • Communicate licensing workflow instructions to therapists and follow up on action items • Maintain up-to-date provider data in credentialing databases and CAQH • Follow up with providers to ensure timely completion of required documents • Submit licensing applications and supporting provider materials to state agencies • Follow up with state agencies on licensure status and respond to ad hoc requests • Clarify licensure qualifications and documentation questions with boards, updating state licensing workflows • Maintain provider records, compile information, track CEUs, and submit forms to keep providers licensed across the U.S. • Track licensing documents and timeframes • Coordinate with other departments on licensure priorities according to staffing needs • Maintain confidentiality of provider information • Coordinate with recruitment and network operations to ensure timely and accurate provider credentialing • Respond to provider and internal department inquiries regarding licensure status
• Associate’s degree in healthcare or a related field preferred • Minimum of 3 years experience of behavioral health clinician licensing experiencing preferred • Knowledge of state specific credentialing/recredentialing requirements preferred • Experience with obtaining licensure for providers across multiple states preferred • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, analysis and resolution • Knowledge of credentialing standards/regulations and NCQA accreditation preferred • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships providers and internal stakeholders • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Ability to prioritize workload effectively and meet deadlines • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
