📋 Description

• Prepare, edit, and submit account billing according to client contract or payer guidelines • Ensure invoices are submitted accurately and timely according to policy and procedure • Work biller-related errors in the error work queue • Submit system contract and fee schedule changes when required • Submit all required documentation with invoices • Update facility census changes and perform required rebilling • Request missing documentation from clients, physicians, or patients • Access client files to verify insurance when necessary • Address problems and advise the supervisor of area or compliance issues • Complete reports according to assigned deadlines • Verify and update insurance information every 30 calendar days

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or better • 1 year of experience in insurance billing and eligibility • 3 years of Microsoft Suite experience, specifically Excel and Teams • Advanced time management skills • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency • Intermediate medical terminology knowledge • Intermediate typing skills, minimum 35 wpm • Advanced customer service skills • Intermediate communication skills • Intermediate computer skills • Dedicated, detail-oriented, and able to work as a team player
