📋 Description

• Provide peer-based support using lived experience to build trust and support engagement in services • Support outreach and engagement efforts to connect individuals to services and community resources • Assist individuals in navigating services and accessing available supports • Facilitate group activities, educational sessions, and community engagement opportunities • Promote self-advocacy, independence, and active participation in services

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • One (1) year lived experience with a behavioral health condition and/or substance use • North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (NCCPSS) • Valid driver’s license • Must reside within Trillium’s Mid State Region: Anson, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, and Richmond counties • Must be able to travel within catchment as required • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment now or in the future • Must pass a drug test as a condition of employment • Resume must include employer name, dates of service, average hours worked per week, and essential job duties • Resume must include education details and licensure/certification information, if applicable
