📋 Description

• Provide donor and organization prospect research and analytics services to all regional health ministries across Trinity Health • Partner in system-wide initiatives such as Blackbaud Target Analytics, institutional market analysis, and wealth screening • Analyze donor giving patterns, trends, preferences, financial capacity, and philanthropic tendencies • Perform in-depth research on current and potential donors using internal and external sources • Identify and research prospects and assess capacity and inclination to give • Enter, update, and maintain prospect research data in Trinity Health’s shared donor data management system • Develop and produce prospect research reports, custom reports, ad-hoc queries, data exports, dashboards, and metric analytics • Collaborate with regional health ministry Foundation and Development Office colleagues and System Office team members • Provide information to facilitate cultivation and solicitation of Annual, Major, Planned, and Principal Gift prospects • Present job aids and training sessions on market capacity, opportunities, and best practices • Maintain prospect records and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers • Maintain confidentiality of wealth screening processes and donor/prospect results • Keep current with HIPAA and fundraising regulations and ensure compliance with PHI confidentiality requirements • Incorporate Trinity Health’s mission, vision, and values in leadership behaviors, practices, and decisions • Adhere to APRA and AFP ethics standards and Trinity Health’s Code of Conduct

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required • At least three (3) years of previous experience in Fundraising Operations, specifically Prospect Research, is required • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a frontline fundraiser and a solid understanding of the donor solicitation cycle (Identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship) • Knowledge of and proficiency in industry standard data analytics and research tools, including tools such as ResearchPoint, Lexis Nexis, CoreLogic, Larkspur, Hoovers, Guidestar, NOZA Search, Dun and Bradstreet Credibility Corp, Marquis Who’sWho, Refinitiv, Experian, ProPublica, Candid, county deeds and other public websites • Knowledge of and proficiency in donor databases and Microsoft applications • Ability to independently perform and produce large-scale data mining, wealth screening, target analytics, and predictive statistical data models and present them clearly, concisely, and actionably • Healthcare or Higher Education fundraising experience is preferred • Blackbaud Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud CRM are preferred • Degree in Information Science, Library Science or related field is preferred • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, fundraising regulations, PHI confidentiality requirements, and applicable professional ethics codes
