📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of clinical trial samples, including collection, tracking, analysis, reporting, and destruction • Serve as the primary contact for trial teams • Manage laboratory operations, reconciliations, and queries • Collaborate cross-functionally to define testing requirements • Maintain sample logs and track sample status • Develop processes, SOPs, and training materials • Track clinical trial samples from collection until destruction, including samples at external testing labs • Manage queries for clinical trial samples at internal testing labs • Perform lab reconciliation with internal testing labs and the Clinical Data Manager • Oversee operational activities related to clinical trial samples within internal testing labs, including sampling, storage, transfer, analysis, reporting, challenges, workload, risks, and issues • Oversee operational close-out activities related to internal clinical trial sampling and analyses • Collaborate with internal and external Functional Leads to define clinical trial-specific testing requirements • Support the Clinical Outsourcing Manager and Clinical Operations Lead with external central laboratory selection • Partner with internal Functional Leads to agree on internal and external testing labs, analysis frequency, and result reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, bioengineering, or a related field • 4+ years sample management in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry • 2+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry, preferred in laboratory related functional area • Demonstrated experience in laboratory related functional area within the GCP/GCLP/GLP area • Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA, and applicable clinical trial regulations • Proficiency with clinical trial systems and tools (e.g., CTMS, eTMF, Microsoft Office) • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship • Successful completion of a background check, reference checks and pre-employment drug screening, where permitted by applicable law • For certain roles, additional screenings such as a credit check or motor vehicle record review may be required, where job-related and consistent with business necessity
