📋 Description

• Oversee healthcare management staff and organize and develop high-performing teams • Ensure consistency in clinical interventions supporting members • Meet the financial, operational and quality objectives of the unit • Manage assigned care management teams and ensure adherence to established practices, policies and procedures • Participate in recruitment and hiring using defined education, experience, technical and performance requirements • Develop, initiate, monitor and communicate performance expectations • Assess developmental needs and implement action plans supporting high-performing teams • Support management of complex physical and behavioral health cases • Use critical thinking and judgment to facilitate appropriate healthcare outcomes • Ensure access to primary care, behavioral health and coordinated healthcare services • Provide clinical leadership and assist care management staff • Conduct individual and team meetings focused on member service delivery, administrative duties and productivity standards • Consult with care managers, medical directors, system of care, social support teams and market staff to overcome barriers • Identify and escalate quality-of-care issues • Complete administrative duties for supporting and managing a team • Communicate strategic plans and tactics to achieve cost and quality outcomes • Identify best-practice and innovation opportunities to improve outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 1 or more years of Managed Care experience • 3 or more years of clinical experience • 1 or more years of Management/Leadership experience • RN license or independently licensed clinician in Behavioral Health field in the state of Texas • BSN required for RN license • Masters degree required for BH license • Knowledge of the regulations, standards, and policies which relate to medical management (preferred)
