📋 Description

• Educate and support prospective Trupanion customers through inbound warm leads, phone calls, and email • Build trust and rapport with pet parents using a consultative approach • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions • Explain the value and benefits of Trupanion pet insurance coverage • Use call control, active listening, and objection handling throughout the sales process • Navigate customer concerns and sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism • Guide customers through the enrollment process • Manage high inbound call volumes while balancing customer experience, efficiency, productivity, and sales goals • Manage evolving responsibilities, processes, and workflows with ownership and adaptability • Navigate multiple systems and tools • Prioritize time and maintain attention to detail and productivity • Document customer interactions and maintain detailed CRM records • Troubleshoot common technical issues and adapt to new tools or system updates

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of successful sales experience in a high-volume business-to-customer sales or inbound call center environment • 1+ years of experience in a customer service role • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales goals, productivity expectations, and performance metrics • Ability to build genuine rapport quickly, overcome objections, and guide customers through the sales process using a consultative approach • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience handling high-volume inbound customer interactions • Ownership, adaptability, and resilience in a metrics-driven, fast-paced environment • Experience navigating multiple digital platforms and documenting customer interactions in CRM systems • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions • Self-motivation, strong time management, and ability to maintain productivity remotely • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and comfort using technology independently • Experience working remotely in a private setting with reliable hard-wired internet and a distraction-free home-office setup • Must be able to obtain and maintain active Property and Casualty (P&C) licensing in all 50 states and applicable jurisdictions, e.g. assigned Canadian Provinces • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Must have evening and weekend availability • Reliable and stable internet connection through hard-wired Ethernet; wireless, satellite, and mobile hotspots are not permitted
