• Lead and perform Facility Condition Assessment engagements for state and federal agencies, institutional clients, and corporate companies • Provide technical reviews of existing facilities for owners, facility managers, lenders, buyers, and investors • Manage multi-person FCA teams, providing direction and support, reviewing work progress, and resolving issues • Interface with client representatives onsite and coordinate team schedules and responsibilities • Participate in client and account management, including pre-bid meetings, shortlist interviews, and project kick-off meetings • Develop project plans and schedules and communicate project goals and deliverables • Conduct walk-through surveys of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems • Interview facility managers, property owners, occupants, site personnel, and local government officials • Document property conditions and physical deficiencies through representative and detailed photographs • Act as a subject matter authority in mechanical and electrical systems • Prepare FCA and PCA reports, including cost estimates and multi-year capital spending plans • Travel frequently during the day and overnight, up to 60%
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum 5 years of commercial building evaluation or commercial design experience • General understanding of site work, structural systems, building envelope, and MEP systems • Minimum 5 years of building evaluation experience • Experience writing Facility Condition Assessment Reports • Experience with facility capital planning • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time • Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future • Professional registrations or technical certifications preferred • Multidiscipline knowledge of architectural, structural, mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or site utilities preferred • Experience conducting ASHRAE Level 1 and 2 energy audits preferred • Government clearance preferred where applicable • Driver’s license preferred • Lift operating certification is a plus
