• Provide consulting services to a financial services client account supporting strategic objectives for retail bank construction • Lead ground-up construction and new branch renovation projects in Florida, particularly along the Atlantic Coast or in Tampa/Orlando markets • Manage commercial real estate projects from initiation through completion, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout • Interface directly with clients to prepare scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates and budgets, schedules, quality control, and risk identification • Conduct periodic construction site visits to monitor progress and verify work against approved drawings and specifications • Review contractors’ cost payment requisitions, budgets, subcontracts, bonds or subcontractor default insurance, change orders, job cost reports, contingencies, schedules, lien waivers, and related documentation • Review contract blueprints and specifications for completeness and compliance with architectural and engineering standards • Analyze developer direct and indirect cost budgets and coordinate with the Cost Advisory group on estimates, quantity take-offs, and supporting documentation • Review and comment on construction agreements, subcontracts, design agreements, building loan agreements, and contractor and architect qualification statements • Review construction and disbursement schedules and submitted documents such as zoning approvals, surveys, permits, utility approvals, engineering reports, and code and ADA compliance certifications
• Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience • In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Experience with Kahua, MS Project, or similar project management software • Experience with Smartsheet is a plus • Ground up, retail, and/or financial services experience strongly desired • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems preferred • General knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices • Ability to read architectural drawings • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality • Advanced math skills • Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations
