📋 Description

• Lead quality assurance, quality control, and safety oversight for a federal aviation infrastructure program delivered for the FAA • Build and maintain the program's quality management system • Establish review processes for contractor and designer deliverables • Provide safety oversight across active operational facilities • Deliver the Program Quality Management Plan, Program Safety Management Plan, deliverable review process, and program audit schedule within the first 90 days • Develop quality procedures, templates, checklists, objectives, performance indicators, and QA/QC frameworks • Lead quality audits, inspections, compliance reviews, nonconformance reporting, CAPA, root cause analysis, and lessons learned • Monitor quality and safety metrics, risks, incidents, near misses, observations, and corrective actions • Oversee incident investigations and emergency preparedness and response planning • Provide technical oversight of life safety systems through planning, design, and construction • Support non-resident field inspections and coordinate with engineers of record and authorities having jurisdiction • Align program practices with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and applicable ISO 14001 requirements • Maintain quality and safety records, documentation, and reporting systems • Provide reports and briefings to the PMO Director, Peraton, and FAA stakeholders • Identify and mitigate quality and safety risks and escalate significant issues • Coordinate with the Environmental Manager on environmental compliance • Advise program leadership on quality and safety • Deliver training, coaching, and awareness programs • Lead and develop quality and safety staff as the program grows

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required • Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination • Must complete the FAA background investigation • Must obtain FAA facility badging and a PIV credential • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Occupational Safety, or a related field • Minimum of 10 years of combined quality management and safety experience on large construction or infrastructure programs • At least 5 years in a lead role • Experience building and running a quality management system, including plans, procedures, audits, and corrective actions • Experience authoring program-level plans, procedures, and templates from scratch • Experience reviewing design and construction deliverables for code and contract compliance • Working knowledge of OSHA and federal, state, and local health and safety regulations • OSHA 30 certification • ISO 9001 auditor or lead auditor training, or equivalent • Preferred: Federal or aviation program experience, particularly in FAA facilities or other active operational environments • Preferred: Professional Engineer license or fire protection credential, or direct experience with life safety systems design and review • Preferred: OSHA 500, CSP, or ASQ certification such as CQM or CQA • Preferred: ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 auditor training • Preferred: Experience working between a prime contractor and a federal client on the same program
