📋 Description

• Co-architect the overarching strategic direction and execution of Twilio’s global internal communications program with the Internal Communications Lead • Partner with PR/External Communications during strategic projects and crises to align and sequence internal and external narratives • Own strategy, narrative creation, and execution for highly sensitive employee communications involving employment legal issues, ethics and misconduct cases, regulatory or legal actions, and safety and security incidents • Drive internal communications for mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions, organizational redesigns, and executive transitions • Advise on complex external political and social issues and develop framework-driven messaging • Partner with Legal, HR, Employee Relations, Security, and Corporate Affairs on sensitive matters • Partner with Finance and ghostwrite for the CFO on companywide financial communications and finance organization updates • Support broader internal communications work, including Q&A preparation, All Hands support, and communications campaigns

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or crisis management • Proven track record operating at a principal or senior manager level within a global technology company • Experience acting as a trusted right-hand to communications leadership and steering program strategy while executing operationally • Deep hands-on experience managing highly confidential and sensitive communications, particularly around M&A, restructuring, legal actions, and complex workplace issues • Exceptional emotional intelligence and poise under pressure • Ability to interface with and influence C-suite executives and legal counsel on highly sensitive matters • Strong project management skills, including managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders • Proven ability to ghostwrite in the voice of varied leaders with limited advance notice • Masterful storytelling and writing capabilities • Ability to distill complex legal, regulatory, or organizational nuances into clear, engaging, and culturally resonant employee communications
