📋 Description

• Inspire and equip developers to build with Twilio products and ensure an exceptional developer experience • Act as an active and authentic leader in the developer community online and offline • Navigate cross-functional collaboration and align with program and engagement objectives • Define and own the Developer Evangelism strategy for the Americas region • Communicate project plans, progress and outcomes to stakeholders across the company • Practice servant leadership and develop the careers of regional Evangelists • Define success and expand Evangelism projects, programs and collaboration initiatives through a metrics-driven approach • Contribute to the Developer Network’s strategy as a member of the extended leadership team • Report directly to the Director • Mentor and nurture the next generation of Developer Evangelists • Partner cross-functionally across Marketing, Product and Sales • Represent the regional team and work with all levels of Twilio leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working in Developer Relations, Developer Community and/or related areas • 3–5 years of team leading or people management experience • Experience leading initiatives within Developer Relations, Community and/or Developer Marketing • Experience working cross-functionally across the entire company and at scale • Experience mentoring and guiding individual contributors • Experience serving and supporting developer communities with authenticity • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, support, product, marketing and additional stakeholders • Creative and collaborative problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making • Storytelling skills to highlight developers building on Twilio and inspire others • Familiarity with the North America and Latin America developer and industry landscape, including local communities, events and programs • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization • Experience navigating the emerging technology environment • Understanding of organizing and running developer program activities • Prior experience leading relevant functions within Developer Relations • Experience serving developers through Developer Evangelism and/or related Developer Relations functions within a region • Professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is desired
