📋 Description

• Deliver complex, high-impact platform features, including versioning systems, approval workflows, and permission models • Participate in architectural decisions that scale across multiple customer configurations • Contribute to Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) • Help modularize the core domain • Conduct deep architectural code reviews • Contribute to automated quality gates • Use Cursor and Claude to reduce boilerplate and focus on complex implementation • Help refine AI-first patterns, including agentic testing and automated reviews • Collaborate with a high-caliber engineering team to support the platform's expansion

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full-stack experience • Strong engineering fundamentals, including system design, database optimization, and clean architecture • Ability to understand and contribute to complex domain objects and data models in production environments • Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into elegant technical specifications in partnership with product managers • Strong working knowledge of defensive coding practices and authorization models for protecting sensitive data • History of writing clean, maintainable code with comprehensive testing • Commitment to documentation and observability • Familiarity with React and/or Next.js (nice to have) • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails conventions (nice to have) • Experience with document generation, rich text editors, or systems processing unstructured data in secure workflows (nice to have) • Experience in compliance-heavy industries such as GovTech, FinTech, or HealthTech (nice to have) • Experience with or desire to learn AWS infrastructure, including ECS/EKS and CloudWatch (nice to have) • Previous experience at a fast-growing startup in the $5M–$30M ARR range (nice to have)
