📋 Description

• Create, deploy, and manage highly available, large-scale distributed systems within Twilio SendGrid • Redesign backend services to improve scalability • Strengthen service security against changing threats • Deliver solutions that enhance the customer journey • Develop new product offerings providing actionable insights into customers’ email program health • Ship reliable, scalable features delivering customer value • Partner with engineering and product teams to understand customer challenges and craft solutions • Lead the team toward delivering the right value • Perform thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality • Identify key system metrics and ensure monitoring coverage for data storage and analytical services • Take initiative and solve challenging technical problems

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in your craft with demonstrated skill progression • Proficiency with Go or similar typed programming languages (Java, C#, C++, Rust, etc.) • Ability to implement reliable, maintainable components • Experience automating processes and administrative tasks • Degree in Computer Science or similar work experience • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes or other containerization technologies (desired) • Experience with Terraform or similar configuration management tools (desired) • Experience with MySQL or AWS Aurora database systems (desired) • Experience with Kafka or other distributed logging systems (desired) • Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure providers, including GCP and Azure (desired) • Must be eligible for hiring in the USA; this role is not eligible to be hired in California, New York, Washington, Pennsylvania, or Connecticut
