📋 Description

• Develop compelling case themes and litigation strategies • Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials • Manage complex, high-exposure insurance defense matters, including discovery and trial • Prepare witnesses and strategy for trials • Communicate routinely with clients and carriers • Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients • Work collaboratively with attorneys at all experience levels • Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys • Take ownership of cases and keep matters moving • Use modern case management systems, AI-enabled legal resources, advanced research technology, APEX methodology, and Trial Academy resources

🎯 Requirements

• An active New Jersey Bar license is required • JD from an ABA-approved school • Must be licensed in your state • At least five years of meaningful New Jersey insurance defense experience • 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation • Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial • Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred • Experience with time management systems • Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills • Professional appearance and demeanor
