📋 Description

• Develop profitable business account relationships • Increase profitability from existing and new accounts • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services • Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients • Explain product and service benefits to meet client needs • Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales • Prospect new logo opportunities and drive deals from strategy through close • Manage pipeline activity and follow up on opportunities • Develop and leverage Centers of Influence to generate new business • Partner with internal teams to grow and retain existing portfolio customers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience • Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience • Ability to travel (local and regional, some national) • Prior experience in business card sales/payments • Strong sales and new business development skills • Demonstrated ability to prospect new logo opportunities, conduct curious and consultative discovery, and drive deals from strategy through close • Experience working with mid-size to large businesses, including clients with $10MM+ in annual revenue • Strong credit analysis and financial assessment skills • Understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions • Proven success developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) • Ability to manage pipeline activity with strong follow-up and execution discipline • Solid knowledge of payment products • General understanding of product marketing and organizational operations • Strong customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, decision-making, and creative problem resolution • Ability to partner with internal teams to grow and retain existing portfolio customers • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools • Must comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies • Applicants must be able to satisfy applicable employment eligibility verification and background check requirements
