📋 Description

• Serve as Project Manager for permitting and land management system assessment and implementation projects • Partner with client and vendor teams across multiple departments • Lead BerryDunn business analysts and subject matter experts • Manage client service delivery to schedule, scope, and budget, including staff assignments and deliverables • Facilitate client decision-making and document governance outcomes • Help clients plan and manage procurement activities, including scoping, RFP development, proposal review, software demonstrations, reference checks, and contract scoping • Provide project oversight and quality assurance during system upgrades and implementations • Coordinate internal and client tasks according to the project plan • Communicate project and delivery status and facilitate client meetings • Contribute to marketing and business development through blog posts, conferences, industry groups, prospective client meetings, RFP reviews, and proposal development • Report to senior leaders in the Local Government Practice Group

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field • 5 or more years of experience working with local government permitting departments • Experience implementing permitting and land management software systems, such as Accela, Clariti, and Tyler Technologies • Consulting experience with public sector clients at a national or regional consulting firm; relevant independent consulting experience; or prior employment with a software vendor or system integrator • Preferred: Advanced degree and current project management certification, such as PMP or CAPM, or organizational change management certification • Preferred: Experience applying organizational change management methodologies, including Prosci • Up to 30% travel to client sites
