📋 Description

• Assist the Mortgage Retail Regional Manager in leading and managing Mortgage Loan Originators • Achieve production goals, operational excellence, market growth, and regional profitability • Interview, recruit, onboard, and train elite talent • Proactively retain current employees • Ensure compliance with banking laws and regulations through compliance training • Maintain a personal pipeline of retail mortgage loans for an assigned geographic region or market segment • Participate in local and state mortgage banking, realtor, and builder trade associations • Maintain thorough knowledge of the mortgage industry and current issues • Communicate business goals, objectives, and company performance results to staff • Promote an effective sales environment • Establish collaborative partnerships with other U.S. Bank business lines to grow customer relationships and additional product sales

🎯 Requirements

• Typically a High School diploma or equivalent • Typically two or more years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator • Thorough knowledge of sales and sales strategies, mortgage products/services, operations, and current market trends • Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills • Well-developed customer service/relations skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred • 2 years of mortgage loan origination experience with proven results • Experience in coaching, developing and recruiting a mortgage team • Must maintain National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z • Required registration process includes a criminal background and credit check • Must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies • Must be located in Missouri
