📋 Description

• Receive and purchase loans from third-party lenders • Review loans for compliance with bank, regulatory and investor guidelines and customer service standards • Determine loan acceptability • Communicate with lenders, staff, title companies and others to resolve outstanding items • Obtain necessary documentation and ensure completeness and accuracy • Deliver loan packages to the Secondary/Pooling Unit for timely sale on the secondary market • Package and submit government loan files to HUD/VA for insurance or guaranty • Prepare required disclosure information within designated time frames and ensure regulatory compliance

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Typically three to five years of relevant experience • Thorough knowledge of loan processing, closing and funding policies and procedures • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously • Good data entry and mathematical skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications • Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies • Subject to applicable employment eligibility verification and background-check requirements
