📋 Description

• Lead the operational infrastructure of the academic division • Oversee Academic Operations, Faculty Managers, and Education Technology areas • Translate strategic academic vision into scalable operational systems, administrative compliance, and academic technology • Establish and oversee academic operations for consistency, scalability, and efficiency • Execute strategic academic projects and educational technology initiatives compliantly and on time • Ensure operational integrity, workflow optimization, and high-quality service delivery • Develop and maintain academic workflows and continuous process improvements • Define team priorities, deliverables, timelines, and performance standards • Ensure direct reports have clear responsibilities, procedures, and resources • Manage performance using metrics, expectations, and standardized policies • Provide training and tools, monitor progress, and adjust resources • Coordinate with academic teams and stakeholders for faculty-management alignment • Collaborate with university leadership and cross-functional administrative units to streamline workflows and advance academic priorities • Maintain relationships with higher education partners to drive technological innovation and operational excellence • Complete required training and pursue professional growth • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree required • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in higher education; at least 7 years in a leadership role • Experience managing a team in a remote environment preferred • Demonstrated experience in higher education academic operations, instructional design strategies, and faculty development frameworks • Strong understanding of online education and best practices in online teaching and learning • Ability to analyze operational metrics and optimize resource allocation • Experience managing complex, multi-phase academic projects and organizational changes • Basic operational budget management, resource forecasting, and risk-mitigation skills in an academic environment • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Experience leading, mentoring, and building consensus within geographically distributed teams • Strong talent development and performance-management skills • Familiarity with accreditation processes and regulatory requirements in higher education • High emotional intelligence and analytical conflict-resolution skills • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required • Research skills required • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common journals and legal documents • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment • Required resume, proof of veteran status, and unofficial/official transcript(s)
