• Initiate pilots, write grant applications, manage grant deliverables, and provide program evaluation for multiple early childhood education research projects and grants • Facilitate effective program design, execution of project deliverables, and evaluation methods used to determine outcomes • Design and implement qualitative and quantitative research program evaluation protocols and analyses • Work on multiple child and family services programs, including maternal and child wellbeing and mental health programs • Assist faculty with grant and contract applications, including work plans, budgets, resource assessments, and evaluation plans • Execute awarded grants and contracts according to established protocols and project outcomes • Create project timelines, content-development strategies, and deliverable execution processes • Prepare funder grant reports using outcomes data, technical writing, narrative descriptions, and data visualization • Ensure compliance with UAMS division policies and procedures • Support staff with resources, mentoring, and training • Represent research faculty with state and community partners • Build relationships with partner organizations to accomplish and manage deliverables • Deliver community-based trainings around Arkansas and perform outreach in identified counties to meet participant recruitment goals • Promote the Division of Research and Evaluation to stakeholder groups • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field plus six (6) years of research-related experience in early childhood education policy, educator training, community research, child development research, early childhood education programs, or a related field • Education may be substituted for some years of experience • Arkansas Driver’s License and ability to travel within AR and outside for trainings and project meetings as needed • Experience in research outcomes evaluation, early childhood education, OR social sciences • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs • Preferred: Master's degree in a social science or related field • Preferred: Certificate of advanced training in evaluation and data management for research • Preferred: Experience with early childhood policy, data outcomes evaluation, community engagement, qualitative data analysis, and statistical methods • Preferred: Microsoft Power BI, database management, research data collection, survey design, SPSS, SQL, SAS, NVivo, or other evaluation software • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment • Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including Motor Vehicle Reports Check and applicable criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification
