📋 Description

• Provide direct patient care as an RN • Coordinate care and triage patients • Collaborate with clinic providers, fellows, and staff • Work with patient referral sources • Facilitate appointments and coordinate transitions of care • Provide patient education on complex conditions • Develop and implement individual health plans with patients, families, and providers • Float to any IMSL clinics as needed • Collect and document patient assessment data • Develop, evaluate, and update patient Plans of Care • Administer medication according to department standards and the Nurse Practice Act • Verify and evaluate care for consistency with patient- and family-centered care principles, practice standards, and regulatory requirements • Support evidence-based nursing practices • Provide patient and family education and discharge planning • Collaborate and communicate with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and stakeholders • Document care in the medical record • Report variances in care, systems, and processes • Participate in staff recruitment and retention • Facilitate evidence-based nursing practice standards compliant with ANA standards • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing • Valid RN License • Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience • Ability to function as a charge nurse • Ability to perform point-of-care testing, draw and collect blood specimens, and prepare for laboratory processing • BLS (CPR) Certification preferred • Leadership experience preferred • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment • Required pre-employment screening: Adult Maltreatment, Annual TB Screening, Child Maltreatment, Criminal Background Check, Sex Offender Registry, Substance Abuse Testing
