📋 Description

• Provide primary care telephone triage remotely from home • Work the assigned Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM schedule or per diem schedule • Initiate and maintain communication with the Manager and colleagues on critical issues • Initiate and maintain effective working relationships with UBCP colleagues and others involved in performing responsibilities • Respect cultural diversity, safety and security of physical environments, teamwork, and others • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of California • Minimum equivalent of 2 years of full-time experience as a telephone triage Registered Nurse, or Registered Nurse in primary care, pediatric unit, emergency department, adult or pediatric urgent care, or nursing case management • Experience using Schmidt-Thompson protocols is a plus • Proficient computer skills • Access to high-speed internet • Excellent verbal and written skills • Ability to establish and maintain courteous and cooperative relationships with patients, customers, and co-workers • Ability and willingness to work with patients of various ages and needs • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute • Approved typing certificate obtained within the past 6 months proving at least 45 net words per minute in a five-minute timed typing test
