📋 Description

• Provide basic research, administrative, and program support to the UCAR Center for Ocean Leadership • Conduct basic literature, web, and document searches on assigned ocean-related topics • Collect, organize, and summarize information from scientific, government, organizational, and other sources • Compile information for briefing materials, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other program products • Enter, organize, update, and maintain program, stakeholder, contact, source, and project information • Assist with basic data collection, organization, and quality checks • Support research on ocean observing programs, emerging technologies, economic and societal benefits, and COL priorities • Assist with meeting and workshop preparation, including research, participant information, materials, note-taking, and follow-up documentation • Assist with testing and documenting digital tools, including AI-enabled research and productivity tools • Perform basic administrative and program-support activities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Current enrollment, or intent to enroll in the next regular session, in an accredited secondary, postsecondary, college, university, or approved trade-school program with a Certificate or Approval from the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education • Basic oral and written communication skills • Ability to conduct basic internet, literature, and document research • Ability to organize information clearly and accurately • Ability to follow established procedures and written or verbal instructions • Basic proficiency with computer and web applications • Ability to learn and use new software and digital tools • Attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Compliance with U.S. export control regulations and work location requirements • Required application materials: Resume and Questionnaire
