📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members to define business needs and lead continuous improvement of business processes and team outcomes • Guide, mentor, and review other analysts on business analysis and collaboration best practices • Elicit, gather, summarize, and document business needs using interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, process descriptions, and workflow analysis • Identify cross-team and cross-functional dependencies and impacts • Lead research and analysis to define and clarify business needs • Evaluate scope-change requests and recommend changes that add value and support project objectives • Communicate scope changes to team members and stakeholders • Help business units understand system capabilities and how they meet business needs • Reconcile information from multiple sources and drive stakeholder alignment • Facilitate resolution of conflicting or ambiguous business needs • Distinguish user requests from underlying needs • Facilitate collaboration on technical vision and usability/performance tradeoffs • Oversee resolution of escalated issues and ensure timely outcomes • Work with internal and external users on matters not requiring code changes • Evaluate and resolve questions and concerns, referring issues to appropriate departments when necessary • Maintain records of issues and solutions • Assist with training documentation • Work with development teams to test and verify defect resolution • Perform duties of other job types as part of an Agile team • Follow the team Working Agreement and evolving team processes • Provide or facilitate system maintenance within established standards • Lead implementation of new business rules and regulatory requirements where applicable • Drive ongoing development and resolve requirement ambiguities • Direct timely implementation of changes in alignment with project timelines

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • 5+ years of relevant experience • Communication to a wide range of audiences • Successful problem solving • Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter • Ability to gather, analyze, define, clarify, and document business needs and requirements • Ability to facilitate discussions and collaboration among stakeholders • Ability to translate technical information into non-technical formats and vice versa • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Willingness to participate in continuing education throughout the career • Ability to work outside regular business hours when required
