• Responsible for reviewing medical records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance • Provides expertise in applying federal and state coding guidelines • Develops audit findings and communicates results • Educates coding and documentation teams and stakeholders • Recommends process improvements and mitigates compliance risks • Stays current with coding rules and industry changes
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree • 2+ years of experience • RHIA Certification, CPMA, CCDS, Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
