📋 Description

• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, success criteria, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation • Identify project dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies • Collaborate with engineering team leads, research leadership, and external partners to gather requirements and establish communication channels • Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress • Conduct project status meetings and provide stakeholder updates • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources through change control processes • Identify, resolve, and escalate project issues and critical risks • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, sponsor requirements, research data-handling expectations, and open-source release processes • Maintain stakeholder relationships and manage expectations • Manage resources across Digital Safety tasks and UL-wide assignments • Facilitate communication among project team members • Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions • Document project outcomes, successes, and challenges • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science • 3 years or more of hands-on experience as a software engineer • PMP Certification (or equivalent) • Four years or more in product and program management • Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) • Six Sigma certifications • Strong leadership skills • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across competing priorities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Relevant technical knowledge • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines • Strong problem-solving skills • Negotiation skills • Understanding of budgeting principles, cost estimation, and financial management • Adaptability and flexibility in managing uncertainties and reallocating resources
