📋 Description

• Support design of utility scale renewable projects nationwide • Develop renewable project design/construction packages including BESS layouts, electrical one-lines, collection systems, collection system studies, and equipment installation details • Interact directly with clients for successful project execution • Design projects with multi-discipline teams of 2-4 people • Support development of early-stage projects with conceptual designs and material take-offs • Contribute to internal engineering standards, toolsets and work processes • Turn initial system conceptual ideas into fully developed optimized EPC designs • Identify improvements and implement them with support from others • Effectively multi-task and manage numerous projects/tasks simultaneously • Maintain project schedules and achieve target due dates

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent required • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in power systems, with detailed design of Renewable BESS strongly preferred • Experience with CYMCAP preferred • Experience with ETAP and or EasyPower preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to employees, management, and clients • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) • Experience/familiarity with AUTOCAD or Revit preferred but not necessary • Must be a self-starter and willing to identify improvements and implement them • Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies • Knowledge of BESS and or Wind systems, NEC requirements, and construction practices strongly preferred • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage numerous projects/tasks simultaneously • Ability to maintain project schedule and achieve target due dates • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, clients and external agencies • Reliable high speed internet capabilities if working remote • Up to 15% travel required • Valid driver’s license preferred • Openness to innovation and ability to apply evolving technology and AI tools • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
