📋 Description

• Develop and execute Medium Voltage Distribution Grid Modernization work • Use advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices to complete complex project features • Provide consultation for the design, development, and implementation of technical plans and systems • Develop grid modernization solution plans, including project design criteria and distribution planning • Perform load flow studies • Review DER interconnection applications • Perform protection coordination studies • Conduct technology research • Maintain client contact • Scope, estimate, and schedule projects • Complete assigned tasks under supervision • Actively manage individual workload • Review project drawings, calculations, and specifications under supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar is required • ABET accredited program or equivalent required • EIT certification is preferred • Previous experience working with or for a Utility is preferred • Must be analytical and self-motivated • Ability to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Experience with Distribution Load Flow software such as DNV GL Synergi Electric, Milsoft Windmil, or CYME Dist is preferred • Experience with Distributed Energy Resource (DER) interconnections is preferred • Proven experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access is required • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US
