📋 Description

• Support renewable development projects across utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across the country • Perform routine engineering tasks and investigations or observations under supervision • Assist in developing plans, specifications, and design deliverables • Research applicable codes, standards, and project requirements • Collaborate with engineers and technicians across multiple disciplines • Perform design calculations, preliminary layouts, and single line drawings under project discipline leads • Develop proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, CYMCAP, SAM, PVsyst, and PVFarm • Prepare quantity takeoffs • Support permitting, utility crossing, and interconnection application designs • Assist in resolving design challenges with creative engineering solutions

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required • Completed or currently pursuing the degree with graduation expected within 6 months of hire • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire • Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD experience desired • Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Commitment to client satisfaction and adherence to client-driven standards, schedules, and budgets • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US • Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new engineering skills and concepts • Ability to work effectively with peers and cross-discipline project teams • Commitment to continuous professional growth
