📋 Description

• Complete studies supporting preliminary renewable projects, interconnection applications, NERC Compliance, and dynamic simulation modeling • Perform steady-state and dynamic power flow studies using PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, and other software packages • Study performance and meet NERC Compliance standards • Create models and perform model validations and benchmarking for renewable projects • Support early-phase work before plant design • Potentially contribute to power system analysis, design, and testing • Present study results internally and externally • Collaborate with existing and new clients to identify projects and support consulting-services sales • Manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required, ABET accredited program or equivalent required • Prior engineering internship required • Interest in performing steady-state and dynamic power flow studies • Ability to effectively present study results internally and externally • Ability to work with existing and new clients to identify projects, articulate Ulteig’s capabilities, and translate opportunities into consulting-services sales • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and on tight deadlines • Willingness and ability to develop a wide skillset for internal workload flexibility • Experience with PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, and other software packages • Must have permanent authorization to work in the US • Previous steady-state PSSE experience and renewable energy project experience preferred but not necessary
