📋 Description

• Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes for private credit funds • Prepare and review general ledgers, trial balances, and supporting schedules • Oversee preparation of schedules supporting general ledger balances reported in financial statements • Communicate directly with General Partners and respond to information requests • Review and approve accounting for loan originations, purchases, sales, and paydowns, including trade date versus settle date considerations • Oversee calculation and recording of interest income, paid-in-kind income, original issue discount/premium accretion, and amortization • Interact with auditors and provide reports and supporting documentation • Review borrowing base reporting and lender compliance deliverables for funds using subscription lines, warehouse facilities, or leverage structures • Understand and interpret fund governing documents, including LPAs, credit agreements, and side letters • Manage multiple tasks, client deliverables, and internal demands

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years’ relevant experience in Accounting or related field • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field • Advanced degree (MBA or MSA) in Accounting or related field strongly preferred • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred • Strong technical knowledge of private credit instruments and related accounting concepts, including interest accruals, PIK, OID/premium, and amortized cost vs. fair value • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Knowledge of FIS HFPM or other partnership accounting software is a plus • Ability to multitask, manage time, plan, solve problems, and maintain attention to detail • Professional and effective written and oral communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple team and individual priorities and deadlines
