📋 Description

• Respond to a high volume of appointment requests through telephone calls, emails, work queues, and other electronic messages • Schedule appropriate medical exams, procedures, and tests • Collect patient demographics and complete insurance registration when applicable • Serve as an escalation point for Specialists I and II • Handle complex scheduling requests • Serve as a departmental resource for workflow, policy, and process questions • Coach, train, and support less experienced staff • Support quality, accuracy, and operational excellence

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in customer service, patient access, healthcare administration, or a related service-oriented role • Expertise managing complex patient situations, service recovery, and escalation resolution • Ability to serve as a departmental resource for workflow, policy, and process questions • Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities • Ability to coach, train, and support less experienced staff • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and operational excellence • Healthcare experience in scheduling, patient registration, insurance, or revenue cycle functions preferred • Experience participating in quality improvement initiatives, workflow development, or project work preferred • Experience serving as a subject matter expert or lead team member preferred • Must reside in Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, or Texas
