• Coordinate operational tasks involved in the day-to-day administration of major academic programs • Respond to Tier I/Tier II Academic Operations questions through CRM, telephone, email, chat, and walk-in channels • Refer inquiries to appropriate team members or departments via CRM and phone • Work with the Service Center • Reconstruct records • Assess Bowie University undergraduate and graduate records to ensure UMGC coursework appears on Bowie transcripts • Handle sensitive and confidential information • Scan, screen, and data-enter official transcripts and other academic documents • Scan incoming documents into the Document Management System and update student records in the SIS • Perform manual data entry for test scores, professional certifications, international evaluation credits, and military credits • Support management with special projects, memo creation, spreadsheets, tracking systems, and data cleanup • Locate archived files/documents for stateside, Asia, and Europe and scan them into the DMS • Open, sort, and process incoming mail and deliver it to the appropriate party or team • Research and respond to internal and external customer inquiries via phone, email, CRM cases, chat, and other established communication channels • Provide course descriptions to representatives from colleges and universities • Perform other duties as assigned to support the University's mission
• Bachelor's degree • One year experience in administrative staff work • General knowledge of business English, spelling, and grammar • Knowledge of and skill in word processing, database, and spreadsheet software • Skill in performing basic mathematical computations • Ability to present statistical material in table, chart, or graph form • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with tact and discretion • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Ability to operate computers and other office equipment • Ability to train, supervise, and evaluate personnel • Cover letter and resume required
