• Teach Building Sustainable Futures (BMGT 240) remotely for the Business program • Explore how businesses achieve long-term sustainability through responsible practices in core operations • Examine environmental and societal impacts of business activities • Conduct sustainability audits • Develop circular economy strategies • Improve operational efficiency • Balance profitability with ethical decision-making, stakeholder expectations, and climate resilience • Use case studies and applied projects to create actionable sustainability strategies • Actively engage students through frequent interaction • Guide students in collaborative, problem- and project-based learning • Provide regular constructive feedback and assess student work using rubrics • Demonstrate current subject-matter expertise and connect concepts across academic programs • Provide feedback to the program chair on possible curricular improvements
• Master’s degree in Business or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning • Professional experience in Sustainability, Business Strategy, or related fields • Directly relevant, current and active industry professional experience in Business or closely related field • Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred • If selected, candidates with international degrees may be required to submit translation/degree evaluation from a NACES member • Successfully complete the online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 411, as a condition of hire
