📋 Description

• Handle incoming phone calls from patients, families and referring providers to schedule appointments • Schedule appointments across multiple providers, clinics, departments, practices and campuses • Make outbound calls to schedule specialist and subspecialist appointments • Collect and update patient demographics, insurance information and account guarantor details • Collect patient liabilities before or on the date of service, as appropriate • Obtain medical records from outside healthcare organizations based on appointment visit type • Schedule in-office procedures and the rooms where procedures will take place • Provide exceptional patient service and facilitate access to appropriate care

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma • English speaking, reading and writing skills • Strong intrapersonal and communication skills • Previous scheduling and/or phone customer services experience (preferred) • Previous experience in a health care organization (preferred) • Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing skills (preferred) • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted unless certification, licensure or registration is required
