📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted guide for prospective graduate and undergraduate students from initial inquiry to enrollment • Provide personalized support throughout the admissions process • Connect applicants with key campus resources • Help ensure a smooth transition into the University • Collaborate with the Admissions team, Office of Student Records, Student Financial Services, Student Support Services, and Enrollment and Advising Office • Create a seamless, welcoming, and student-centered experience supporting learner success • Work remotely during periods of inclement weather and/or campus emergencies • Participate in training and other events that may require occasional travel to the University of Maine at Presque Isle

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates with an associate's degree and related experience will be considered • Related experience in admissions, tutoring, counseling, customer service, or sales may qualify with an associate's degree • Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to relate to a diverse pool of prospective students with tact, diplomacy, and discretion • Outgoing, positive professional demeanor • Ability to connect with, motivate, and inspire people • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, and Zoom • Experience working in multiple technology platforms simultaneously • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple projects at once • Aptitude for anticipating applicant needs and supporting students through the application process • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to advocate for training needs and meet position requirements within the onboarding timeline • Stable, reliable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps; mobile hotspots are not acceptable • Dedicated, distraction-free workspace supporting private phone and Zoom conversations and FERPA confidentiality • Workspace accommodating a full workstation, including two monitors, docking stations, and other required equipment • Ability to complete an annual Remote Work Agreement Form • No visa sponsorship available • Cover letter and resume required • Professional references required for finalists • Successful candidate subject to a background check
