• Coach congregations and UU leaders to build spiritually grounded, effective organizing strategies • Develop trainings, toolkits, and resources to grow congregational organizing capacity • Track participation, outcomes, and congregational engagement • Report on congregational and State Action Network organizing strengths and opportunities • Serve as the primary liaison between OST and Congregational Life regional staff • Coordinate congregational engagement in campaigns, mobilizations, and cohort-based learning • Design and co-lead leadership development programs • Build and strengthen partnerships with faith-based and secular coalitions at local, state, and national levels • Represent the UUA and Side With Love in interfaith and movement coalitions • Track UUA congregational initiatives to inform strategic collaboration • Consult on cross-team congregational projects • Lead the OST congregational awards and recognition process • Advise the OST Communications team on congregation-focused projects
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community organizing, campaign leadership, or faith-based movement building • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a congregational setting or faith-based organization • Minimum of 2 years in curriculum, workshop, and/or program development • Experience with CRM systems such as EveryAction, VAN, or Action Network • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and financial processes • Experience in coalition building and partnership management across faith, racial justice, or civic engagement sectors • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with public speaking • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Asana or similar project management software, and databases • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a remote environment • Commitment to the values and mission of the Unitarian Universalist Association and Side With Love, including equity, inclusion, and justice • Easy access to a major airport due to 30% travel requirements
