📋 Description

• Design and optimize budget-pacing controllers using PID and probabilistic forecasting • Smooth advertiser spend across time zones and traffic spikes • Lead backend integration of Generative AI models, including Diffusion and LLMs, to automate image and video creative generation • Build and scale experimentation infrastructure for A/B tests, switchback tests, and long-term holdouts • Measure marketplace changes’ impact on advertiser ROI and platform health • Architect and maintain high-throughput billing pipelines processing billions of events • Ensure billing accuracy and financial reconciliation between real-time ad delivery and financial systems • Analyze financial and marketplace datasets to optimize spend velocity and advertiser performance • Use experimentation results to tune pacing and billing logic • Lead complex, multi-quarter technical roadmaps and mentor senior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in computer science or relevant engineering-related field or equivalent experience • 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years working on ads delivery systems • Extensive experience building and operating large-scale, low-latency backend systems using languages like Java, Go, or Scala • Deep familiarity with budget control systems, feedback loops, or spend-prediction algorithms • Proven experience building or scaling experimentation platforms • Deep understanding of variance reduction, interference/network effects, and metric design in a marketplace context • Experience with mission-critical pipelines such as billing, payments, or clearinghouses • Experience or strong technical interest in backend workflows for serving, scaling, and storing Generative AI models for creative asset generation • Proficiency with real-time stream processing using Kafka, Flink, or Spark, applied to event-based charging and real-time performance feedback • Ability to lead complex, multi-quarter technical roadmaps and mentor senior engineers • Experience embracing AI as a strategic advantage in engineering and following established best practices for code quality and security • Sufficient knowledge of English for professional verbal and written exchanges
