📋 Description

• Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in specific disciplines according to University learning objectives and course outlines • Deliver course content, learning activities, and student assessments using current course materials • Share supplemental knowledge and experience connecting course concepts to real-world applications • Make class materials available on time • Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond promptly to student inquiries • Create a supportive learning environment and proactively address academic issues • Provide coaching, tutoring, and additional resources as required • Oversee student clinical, practicum, or mentorship experiences when applicable • Attend faculty meetings, University events, and student graduations • Maintain current knowledge of course updates, instructional standards, and relevant information • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through practice, certification/licensure, conferences, publications, networks, and professional organizations • Instruct and perform other job-related duties in an online environment • Maintain knowledge of University technology and adapt to technology changes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate in Nursing (DNP, DNS, PhD) or related field such as Public Health, Health Sciences, Psychology, or Healthcare Administration • 6 graduate semester credits in Epidemiology, Biostatistics and/or Statistics • 5 years’ experience in a healthcare related practice • 1 year of teaching experience at the graduate education level • Working-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Degree from a regionally accredited institution • Doctoral level nursing practice experience or Epidemiology and/or Biostatistics practice in the last 10 years; teaching in the area extends the currency requirement • One record of scholarship annually within a rolling one-year timeframe, or ability to come into compliance within one year • Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory • High level of problem solving and decision-making ability • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs • Ability to convey a professional image and represent the University appropriately
