📋 Description

• Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate Social Work courses according to University learning objectives and course outlines • Deliver course content, learning activities, and student assessments using current University course materials • Share supplemental knowledge and experience to connect course concepts with real-world applications • Make class materials available promptly • Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner • Create a supportive learning environment and address student academic issues • Provide coaching, tutoring, and additional resources as required • Oversee student clinical, practicum, and mentorship experiences when applicable • Attend faculty meetings and University events, including graduations • Maintain current knowledge of course updates, instructional standards, and relevant information • Maintain current professional and technical knowledge through employment, certification/licensure, conferences, publications, networks, and professional organizations • Instruct and perform related duties in an online environment • Maintain understanding of University technology and adapt to technology changes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program • Must have three years of professional social work experience following completion of a Master of Social Work (MSW), with a minimum of one year within the last seven years • Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution • Professional experience associated with social work concepts, including social work, aging, child welfare, health care social work, international social work, leadership in social work, professional advocacy, justice and corrections, tangible services, mental health, counseling, psychotherapy, community or group services, social and health services, legislative processes, policy and planning, or policymaking • Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory • High level of problem solving and decision-making ability to assess student work, address issues and concerns, and provide appropriate guidance • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs • Ability to convey a professional image and represent the University appropriately
