📋 Description

• Track all tribal student deadlines to ensure documents are requested and sent to tribal higher education offices for new and continuing tribal funding • Request documents from the registrar’s office and ensure schedules, enrollment agreements, admission letters, and other documents comply with University and tribal policy • Perform basic reviews of student scheduling, including scheduling or requesting the correct first class • Advise Tribal Operations Specialists and students regarding tribal funding and benefit eligibility • Analyze and resolve potential funding impacts from schedule changes • Advise accounting and finance advisors on the application of tribal funding • Audit and resolve funding excesses or shortfalls, fund application including cost of attendance, and traditional/non-traditional deadlines • Guide the Non-Federal Resources department on tribal financial needs analysis forms and applying tribal funds within Title IV academic years • Collaborate with Tribal Operations Specialists, internal departments, and tribal entities to support student retention and tribal funding • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Three (3) years of experience in higher education or tribal scholarship processing • Previous experience working with tribal enrollment and finance processes, including the guidelines for Title IV funding • Strong organization and critical thinking skills • Good telephone and interpersonal skills • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word • Knowledge of scholarship funding operations within the tribal community
