📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of analytic and BI solutions for department leadership, faculty, and staff • Consult with leadership to assess analytics needs and build trusted advisor relationships • Facilitate solution development while managing multiple concurrent initiatives of significant complexity and risk • Coordinate analytics activities across the department clinical enterprise with physicians, advanced practice providers, revenue cycle team members, and health system leaders • Lead the Clinical Business Intelligence team • Develop and maintain performance-optimized BI solutions based on data warehouse structures and user requirements • Provide dashboards, quality assurance, and clinical operations reporting using clinical, financial, and operational data • Develop and maintain solution documentation • Coach lower-level BI developers • Design, prototype, test, and deliver enterprise BI solutions using data visualization and storytelling • Partner with business analysts, SMEs, source system data analysts, data architects, ETL developers, data warehouse architects, and data modelers • Oversee and approve complex design/build documentation • Design and document enterprise BI development standards and resolve escalated BI development issues • Review and approve BI developer resource effort and timing across projects • Supervise and direct the Business Intelligence Team • Apply healthcare industry and clinical/business workflow knowledge to solution design • Manage initiatives and projects of significant complexity and risk

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated success applying relational thinking in writing and validating queries against multiple data sources • Demonstrated success creating analytic solutions such as reports, dashboards, and business plans • Demonstrated success identifying needs and requirements of clients seeking analytic solutions • Demonstrated success using quantitative and qualitative methods to identify opportunity • Professional maturity surrounding data access, data security, data sensitivity and data confidentiality • Ability to use SQL, R, Python, analytic techniques, tools and platforms to analyze large quantities of data from multiple sources • Ability to design, create, and maintain dashboards, business plans, forecasts, projections, presentations, models, algorithms, and statistical and financial analyses • Minimum of three years of relevant data analysis or analytics experience in healthcare (preferred) • Minimum of one year of experience using Epic Chronicles, Epic Registries, Epic Clarity and/or Epic Caboodle Data Warehouse (preferred) • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Cover letter required • Resume required • Must pass an initial caregiver check and every four years • Must be continuously eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; TN visas and J-1 waivers are not supported • Employment may require a criminal background check • References may be requested from final candidates
