📋 Description

• Develop and implement solutions related to customers’ supply chains • Develop recommendations supporting customers’ strategic decisions • Use proprietary and third-party applications to analyze transportation, distribution, logistics, inventory, and supply chain solutions • Create and provide customized supply chain solutions for UPS customers • Generate consulting revenues • Strengthen customer relationships by enabling UPS to provide transportation, supply chain, and consulting services • Manage supply chain and distribution analysis projects • Provide subject matter expertise • Coach team members and customer-facing counterparts • Develop project plans based on customer feedback and assign tasks to resources • Review documents and create work orders outlining solutions, tasks, and deliverables • Forward project documents to stakeholders to obtain agreement on costs and resources • Identify and work with affected groups and functions to manage project impact • Research and evaluate industry trends and best practices • Develop training materials for related groups • Report on project status, field resource activity, and training initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or International equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or Logistics/Supply Chain – Preferred • Experience in database management, Supply Chain Logistics, or network modeling – Preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Experience in database development and analysis – Preferred • Consulting experience in the Supply Chain industry – Preferred • Experience using Service Mapping applications such as ESRI and/or GIS – Preferred • Experience using Supply Chain Logistics modeling applications such as Logic Net Plus or I-2 Strategist – Preferred • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
