• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, validate, and prioritize business requirements • Translate business requirements into actionable work items, user stories, and enhancement requests for development teams • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in assigned applications, business processes, workflows, and supporting data structures • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and development resources • Support solution managers in prioritizing initiatives and addressing stakeholder needs and business objectives • Facilitate communication across stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership • Develop and maintain understanding of USAP operational, demographic, coding, and revenue cycle data requirements • Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations, and support resolution of competing priorities and complex business challenges • Participate in change management and governance activities, including Change Control Board processes, committees, and approval workflows • Analyze, validate, document, and communicate application configuration changes, potential impacts, and implementation plans • Support software implementations, upgrades, and integrations • Coordinate and support testing activities, including test planning, defect management, user acceptance testing, and solution validation • Assist with application support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize technology solutions • Create and maintain business process documentation, workflows, training materials, and knowledge articles • Monitor and validate data integrity across supported systems and reporting processes • Provide ongoing support for application optimization and continuous improvement initiatives • Assist in identifying, tracking, and communicating project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems (MIS), information technology, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business analyst in a healthcare environment • Experience supporting healthcare applications, revenue cycle processes, coding systems, demographic systems, or related operational platforms preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio • Experience with software implementations, system integrations, testing, and change management processes preferred • Strong knowledge of anesthesia demographic, coding, and healthcare operational workflows preferred • Revenue cycle management (RCM) experience preferred • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional solutions • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations • Experience reading, writing, and troubleshooting SQL queries preferred • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to data accuracy • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced and evolving environment • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision • Strong time management, documentation, stakeholder management, and meeting facilitation skills • Ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and drive solutions through collaboration and influence • Must reside in the United States, excluding California, Hawaii, and Alaska
